Who else is loving the change in season? I for one am fully embracing Autumn, for me the change in season brings with it lots of excitement & adventures. However before I fully divulge and digress about my love for Autumn, I want to rewind back to May and share with you this blush and lush greens wedding at That Amazing Place. You may have spotted Victoria and Joel’s utterly stunning wedding which was featured over on Rock my Wedding recently and if you didn’t, fear not I adored their big day so much that I wanted to share it again with you….
Victoria’s vision for her day was right up our street, lots of blush and lush green foliage heavy arrangements paired with blooms in soft romantic blush, white, ivory and nude shades. For the ceremony we created two large urn arrangements that created a focal point and scattered eucalyptus leaves to mark the aisle which were really effective.
For the entrance to the ceremony room we created wild ‘tree’ arrangements made up of mixed seasonal ingredients that included; birch, eucalyptus, Solomon seal, cow parsley and delphinium.
I love a confetti shot, I think it’s the pure joy that just oozes from Victoria & Joel as they take their first walk together as husband and wife, such a very special moment that get’s me every time! Plus you can never have to much confetti in my book either!
How awesome is their mirror table plan, I know right? Finished with blooms and draping foliage, I love this idea it’s sure to have been a big hit on pinterest!
The dreamiest of marquee receptions too, we designed a long tablescape made up of a mix of low voluptuous arrangements on glass footed stands alternated with a grouping of cut glass vase arrangements with silver ridged tea lights. Other gorgeous details included calligraphy place names by Alex Gill accompanied by macaroon favours by Little Bear Bakery finished with a sprig of rosemary placed on each persons napkin, perfection!
I adore this stunning bouquet shot captured by their ever so talented photographer Frances Sales so many of my favourite flowers were included in the bouquets such as peonies, garden roses, astilbe, sweet peas and mixed foliage’s included jasmine and ferns and as you can imagine they smelt delicious!
That stunning light, biggest congratulations again Victoria and Joel it was an absolute pleasure creating your wedding blooms and I wish you lots of love and happiness together.
Thinking of having a blush and lush greens scheme for your big day? I hope this has given you lots of inspiration and feel free to get pinning!!
