Joanne Truby Floral Design in Wedding Flowers & Accessories Magazine

Hello lovelies,

Just 2 more sleeps until Christmas, eeek!! Are you ready for the big day? I have a small confession to make that I still have ALL my wrapping to do so I shall be knee deep in festive paper & ribbon over the next couple of days! On the blog today I wanted to share our latest press feature in Wedding Flowers & Accessories Magazine.

It was an absolute pleasure creating the flowers for this feature, the colour for our brief was purple which we decided to mix with hints of peaches. If you follow my instagram account  you will probably know of my current obsession for all things copper, for the table centre I sprayed hints of the foliage to give a subtle hint of copper tones & for the button hole we sprayed berried ivy copper too. The flowers we used for the designs include; Chrysanthemum Blooms, Clematis, Astilbe, Flowering Mint, Tulips, Phlox, Astilbe & Roses.

The table setting is a different idea which you could adopt for your wedding day decor, we added flowers to the bottom of the metal heart stand (which we also sprayed copper). The stand has a clip at the back which was originally used for clipping notes & photos but why not add your guests place names to it instead? You could even double up the place setting arrangement as your favours & each guest could take their own one home.

Wedding Flowers & Accessories magazine is out in the shops now to buy, for all you engaged couples its packed full of ideas & inspiration for your big day blooms, definitely worth getting yourself a copy.
