September, our best bits

I can’t quite believe that we are almost in October & well into the Autumn season, this week is our last wedding of this years wedding season before things calm down for us & we go off on our holiday (Steve & I are off to Lake Garda for some well earned rest & relaxation & I can’t wait!) but before all that I wanted to invite you to take a look at September, our best bits. September was our busiest month of the whole wedding season & boy has it been epic to say the least with Joanne Truby Floral Design having our biggest wedding to date! There’s been beer bottles, hanging chandeliers, candelabra’s urns, moss, gold & glitter vessels & vases, cake flowers, floral arches & of course bridal bouquets. It’s been stressful to say the least but challenging & exciting all in equal measures.

Rachel’s coral & peach bridal bouquet, which she loved! The silvery toned dusty miller foliage works so well with this colour combination & the peach astilbe were a first for me, I had never seen them before so that was a real treat! Other ingredients include; lisianthus, phlox, craspedia, achillea, roses and dahlia’s.

Gemma & Nick had oodles of beer bottles for their centre pieces which were so fitting for their wedding venue, The Bell in Ticehurst which for those of you who don’t know of it is a super cool & quirky venue & has been one of my favourites ever since our Deco Disco shoot a couple of years ago so it was such a pleasure to be back their flowering.

I love that Gemma opted for Autumnal colours to fit the time of year that she was getting married, totally crushing over the Chocolate Cosmos and red Anemones too.

The ceremony set up for Sarah & Nathan’s wedding at the utterly breath taking St Clere Estate & they were so lucky with the weather too, they had a whole weekend of glorious sunshine!

Their marquee reception was just dreamy too, I love the gold & mint table details which complimented our gold vases & glitter vessels so perfectly.

We got to create another of our flower chandeliers which was awesome, long may hanging flowers continue into 2016 and beyond I say!

September was rounded up with a wedding at the ever so quaint Marleybrook House in Canterbury for Joanna & Dave’s wedding. Joanna’s bridal bouquet (pictured above) another popular favourite on our instagram feed was made up of; Garden Roses, Brunia, Astrantia, Oregano, Astilbe and Dusty miller.

There were hanging bird cages to mark the aisle, candelbara centre pieces and our floral arch on the ceremony arbor.

There you have it, September & this is really only scratching the service I can’t wait to share the professional pictures with you soon.
