Our New Look!

In today’s post I am sharing with you some of my tips on how to start your own wedding and event floristry business. Starting with the first fundemental question you need to ask yourself.

As most of you probably already know we very recently re-branded, unveiling our brand new logo & website just last week! In case you missed all the excitement, fear not you can check out our new website here and this is a montage of our ‘new look’ which includes are gorgeous new logo!

Our new look was designed by the very talented Becky Lord Design, Becky completely understood our brief & what  we wanted & I am super chuffed with our re-brand. When I decided to re-brand earlier this year it wasn’t a decision I took lightly, it is after all a big thing deciding how you want your business to be portrayed  but judging by the many compliments we have had so far, I think I made the right decision to follow my gut instinct. Joanne Truby Floral Design turned two a few weeks ago (I can’t quite believe how quickly the time has gone!) & now just felt like the right time to do it. We have evolved so much in the past two years and I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time. I wanted our brand to truly reflect who we are & what we do.

To tie in with the re-brand I thought it was high time I stepped in front of the camera to have some professional head shots taken of myself, putting a face to the Joanne Truby Floral Design name. The lovely Rebecca Douglas Photography stopped by our workshop for a catch up & to capture what goes on behind the scenes in our flowery world…..

I had so much fun that morning & this is coming from someone who normally hates having their photo taken.  Bex is just so super talented she made me feel so relaxed & you can see from the above images she captured some great shots! I hope you love the new website as much as I do, it’s always a little unnerving when you pour so much of your heart and personality into something whether or not people are going to like what you have done. This being said I am the driving force behind Joanne Truby Floral Design and so naturally my own personality and style is a fundamental part  of the business which in my opinion should shine through. I put so much love & passion into all of my work offering my couples & clients the best service possible, one of the main comments about the ‘new look’ was it’s very ‘you’ so this can surely only be a good thing, right?

Here’s to the next 2 years of Joanne Truby Floral Design & many more!

Joanne xx
