On the blog today I am delighted to share with you our first wedding of 2014, Clare & Marks beautiful wedding at Lympne Castle in Kent way back on the 1st March. My gosh where has this year gone?! I can’t believe we are already half way through the year! I won’t waffle on for to long as I think the gorgeous photos captured by their photographer Foto Memories speak for themselves. I love that Clare opted for a blush pink dress as a opposed to traditional ivory.
The Venue…
Lympne Caste is a stunning venue nestled in the idyllic country side village of Lympne (surprisingly) in Kent which boasts stunning views over looking the English channel & a picturesque landscape of rolling hills and open green fields.
Clare & her bridesmaids…
Both Clare’s wedding dress & the bridesmaids dresses were made by Patricia Brazier Bridal Design based in Kent and were all made to measure. The blush and mint colours together are just dreamy!
Of course not forgetting Mark looking rather dashing in his suit with the bridesmaids…
The ceremony…
Clare & Mark had their ceremony as well as wedding breakfast & reception at Lympne Castle. The ceremony took place in the ornate grand hall. In the back ground you can see our epic 9 foot garland that we created for the mantle piece.
The father of the bride looking rather smart & very proud
The Cake…
The cake was made by Marks mum & she done a wonderful job, the little birds cake topper are a cute finishing touch too.
The flowers…
It was an absolute pleasure creating Clare & Marks flowers, they liked the idea of the designs having a natural/country-style but with an elegant feel at the same time. I adored their colour pallet made up of soft blush pinks, peaches & mint we also incorporated hints of gold too. The centre pieces were made up of pretty jam jars surrounded by gold mercury tea lights & we got to use our tree slices for the first time too!
The bride & groom…
I love this image of both Clare & Mark holding photos of their parents on their wedding day, such a lovely idea full of sentiment that they can treasure for years to come.
Thank you to Foto Memories for the wonderful images & to Clare & Mark for sharing their gorgeous day. I wish you both lots of happiness for the future.
Are any of you having a blush & mint wedding?
Joanne xx
