The festive season is now officially upon us the first two doors of our advent calendars have been opened (your never to old for a calendar) and of course time to put up our Christmas trees! We bought our one yesterday from Columbia Road & with it being mine & Steve’s first Christmas in our new home, this year is going to be extra special. We of course opted for a fresh tree, for me you just can’t beat having the real deal. The fresh smell of pine  and having  your own piece of the great outdoors indoors.

Now we have the tree its time for the fun part, adding the pretty décor! I used to love dressing the tree when I was a little unwrapping all the pretty decorations, me my brother & sister would all take it in turns each year to add the star to the top & of course every year each one of us would say it was our turn!  So this year starting our own Christmas collection from scratch its hard to decide which style to go for? Whilst pondering on this thought I created some festive mood boards for inspiration. I’m really liking the Scandi style that is a big trend at the moment.  The modern take on the classic Christmas with reds and the reindeers, but I am a sucker for glitz and gold too…. which ones your favourite?
