Last year I had the pleasure of working with the not only lovely but very talented Amy. On her business (The Timeless Stylist) stunning re-brand editoral featuring beautiful elegant blooms.
The Brieft
Amy’s floral brief of ‘elegant blousy blooms’ was right up my street and I remember getting giddy with excitement reading it! She wanted a light and romantic colour pallet made up of blush, whites & dusky pinks to reflect her brand vision. Instantly I knew I wanted to incorporate some of my favoruite garden roses. Particualy Cafe Latte for their gorgeous dusky pink shade and blush toned Margaret Merril with her equisite scent!
Floral Centrepiece
Amy had planned to use antique props for other elements of the shoot. Over the years I have collated various vinatge vessels. I knew my white Sylvac vase had the perfect feel for the floral centre piece, especially with its delicate features. Along with the blousy blooms we paired wispy stems of Orlaya and Scabious with subtle hints of foliage to add depth and movement.
The Bouquet
The bouquet that Amy held during the shoot, featured a number of the same flower varities as the centre piece. However with a few subtle differences. As I wanted the two to compliment each other. It also included some lavender foliage and flowering Oregano, I like to incorporate scent as much as possible into bouquets. So the smell can be enjoyed throughout the day. It also included other dainty filler flowers Astrantia and blousy Hydrangea Paniculata.
I adore the soft romantic style of the bouquet captured so perfecly by talented photographer Hannah Duffy. Amy added beautiful blush silk ribbon from Silk and Pearl which added to the bouquets elegance and charm.
How stunning is the tablescape that Amy created below? Every little detail meticulously planned and styled. I’m a sucker for a taper candle particularly if they’re coloured and adore these blush ones.
