In today’s post I am sharing with you some of my tips on how to start your own wedding and event floristry business. Starting with the first fundemental question you need to ask yourself.
How quickly has the last week flown by, I can’t quite believe that it was just over a week ago that we exhibited at the Wedding Fair Bluewater. Our stand could be found in the Creative Brides Vintage Village, a brand new concept to the Bluewater fair and we exhibited alongside some of our favorite suppliers and what a talented bunch they are too!
It was lovely meeting lots of excited couples & their families chatting about their wedding plans & of course about their flowers. We received so many wonderful comments about our displays & people stopped to smell the intoxicating scent of our garden roses that wafted in the air. I have to say that I was absolutely shattered on Monday & it took me a couple of days to recover, it’s surprising how standing & talking all day can really tire you out. Thankfully I had my helpers on hand all weekend who were absolute stars, I made sure I supplied them with ample amounts of chocolate of course 😉
I managed to take a quick snap of our stand before the fair opened its doors for the VIP event on the Friday evening.
Below are the beautiful images that Rebecca took of our flowers, she is one talented lady…..
Our bridal bouquet made up of Anemones, Miss Piggy Roses, All for Love Roses, Mini Alliums and Spray roses.
Our vintage medicine bottles filled with blossom proved to be rather popular at the fair
Miniature bottles filled with Ranunculus, Lisianthus, Alliums and Viburnum Berries
Our gold metallic vases were filled with Sweet Avalanche Roses, All for Love Roses, Ranunculus, Alliums, Narcissi & Camomile,
Beautiful Icelandic Poppies also made an appearance at the show.
….along with gold plates & scattered moss of course!
Thanks so much to Rebecca Douglas photography for the gorgeous images. If you visited the fair, what was your favorite part of the day ? As always feel free to share your thoughts.
