On the blog today I have a cracker of a wedding from back in August (seriously where has this year gone!) which we had the pleasure of creating the flowers for. I adore Victoria & Jamie’s fun filled London wedding & all the personal details they included with their penguin book theme & love of television. Doesn’t Victoria look just beautiful in her tea length wedding dress too with ruby red shoes & lipstick to match.

For the flowers they wanted them to have a natural/unstructured feel & their colour pallet was made up of soft blush, lilac & cream with pops of ruby red & burgundy. For the centre pieces we created a grouping of different sized jam jars filled with gorgeous scented Stocks, Dahlias, Roses, Mint, Astrantia, Astilbe & Lisianthus.

A collection of different shaped bottles were placed along the mantle piece with gold mercury & glass ridged tea lights alternating in between each bottle.

For the card and cake table we filled pretty cream jugs with Snap Dragons, Roses, Lisianthus, Astilbe and Astrantia with lots of foliage & hanging jasmine.

I love their book themed wedding, which they incorporated into their wedding stationary. The design being of the classic ‘penguin’ book covers, each one having ‘just married’ written on them. The tables were each named after Victoria & Jamie’s favourite TV shows, such a fab idea!

What a scrummy looking cake table, the cake was created by Jamie’s mum & had a cute penguin cake topper to tie in with the penguin book stationary.

What an amazingly fun day it looks like they both had filled with lots of love & laughter. Thank you so much to Victoria & Jamie for sharing their wedding photos.
