MASTERCLASSES FOR FLORISTS
My intimate workshops are designed for fellow florists or anyone who may be thinking about changing to a career in floristry. If you’re a more established florist who is looking to learn a new skill/technique or would like a creative and inspiring day away from their usual routine to gain a different perspective. My selection of carefully curated masterclasses will aid and support you your future development.
FLORISTRY TASTER DAY
Have you been contemplating a career change into Floristry for a little while but not really sure where to begin? Maybe you would like to gain a little more experience and knowledge before deciding if this is something you want to pursue further? Then my floristry taster day could be just what you’re looking for! Its a full 1 day class that covers all the basics; from conditioning your flowers to discussing different colour combinations, finding your floral style and selecting the best blooms working with the seasons. You will also create your own handtied bouquet learning the spiralling technique and a larger scale vessel arrangement using chicken wire. Now in my eleventh year of running my own business, I will give you tips and advice on starting yours. I will also capture images of your work on my camera and send them to you after the class for you to use as you wish.
All the materials needed are included and you of course get to take your arrangements home with you. I will also send you an informative PDF to that covers all the key elements of the day. The class also includes a light lunch and homemade cake in the afternoon too. Please note spaces for this workshop are limited to 4 people max.

FOAM FREE ASYMMETRIC ARCH & BRIDAL BOUQUET MASTERCLASS
The idea of pairing these two designs together in the same day is to create a coherent story that will allow for wonderful photographs when as a group we style them together at the end of the day. In the first half of this class you will create a large scale foam free installation using an array of beautiful seasonal foliages and blooms. I will guide you through the mechanics to create a foam free arch along with discussing costing your arch for weddings too. After lunch we will then create a bridal bouquet with me guiding you through my front facing technique and discussing the receipe/ingredient method I use to create my bridal bouquets. With gorgeous silk ribbons to adorn your bouquet with too that you also get to keep. At the end we will style your creation and I will capture images of your work for you to use on your social media channels and websites.
All the materials needed are included and you of course get to take your bouquet home with you. The class also includes a light lunch and homemade cake in the afternoon too. Please note spaces for this workshop are limited to 3 people max.

HANGING INSTALLATION & TABLESCAPE MASTERCLASS
Creating a meaningful story by combining these two beautiful designs together on the same day. That will allow for wonderful photographs for your portfolios. The first half of the day will be spent creating a foam free hanging installation design. I will beb guiding you through the mechanics and how you would install a design like this for someones wedding or at an event (the logistical elements to consider etc). I will also discuss costings too. After lunch You will be creating a natural foam free tablescape design made up of seasonal flowers & foliages that will sit underneath the hanging installation. Made up of different elements and discussing design ideas for weddings along with costings. I’m also delighted to say that the talented Amy from The Timeless Stylist will also be joining us for this part of the day and sharing with you her table styling expertise. Along with brining her treasure trove of props to create a beautiful table set up that will compliment your meadow style table florals. We will then spend some time styling the table, adding props and taking images of your finished work. I will also capture images on my camera to send to you afterwards for you to use as you wish for your websites etc.
All the materials needed are included and the flowers will be divided up and bunched together at the end of the day for you to take home and enjoy. The class also includes a light lunch and homemade cake in the afternoon too. Please note spaces for this workshop are limited to a max of two people.

AUTUMNAL BRIDAL BOUQUET MASTERCLASS
The main focus of this class is of course bridal bouquets! Whether you would like to learn my front facing method or perhaps perfect the more loose ‘garden gathered’ style bouquet. Or you may just want to immerse yourself with beautiful blooms being creative outside of your usual weekly routine then this class could be for you. I will demonstrate and guide you through how I create my bridal bouquets discussing colour and bouquet recipes along with costings. After lunch it will then be your turn to create your own bridal bouquet using an array of Autumnal flowers & ingredients. Once your bouquet is finished we shall adorn it with beautiful silk ribbon which you will also be able to keep. The last part of the day will spent styling your bouquet to photograph. I will also capture images on my camera to send to you afterwards for you to use as you wish on your website etc.
