It’s been a while since I showed my face on here

It’s been a while since I showed my face on here so thought I would say hello to you all and to my new followers. I’m Joanne, the face behind these floral squares. This year will be Joanne Truby Floral Designs 9th Birthday! I honestly don’t know where the time has gone, but as the saying goes time flies when you’re having fun 😉 I have learnt A LOT along the way (blog post coming soon). There’s also a lot of things I have achieved since starting the business that I’m really proud of & up there has to be having my work featured in this gorgeous book! Wedding Floral Design by @artpowerpublishing which was published last year and features not one but three of my weddings! A definite pinch myself moment seeing it on sale in @waterstones that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to seeing what the next few years has in store, thank you for following me on my journey so far ❤️

Happy hump day, I’m so over this miserable weather! Anyone else? I keep trying to envisage myself somewhere hot and exotic 😉 if you could go anywhere in the world right now where would it be? On a positive note I have flowers coming into the studio tomorrow and I can’t wait! Channeling Spring a little earlier to banish the winter blues...

I don’t really have the words at the moment I know people close to me going through incredibly difficult times at the moment. It’s a scary and uncertain world we’re living in, so for now I continue to share the flowers, one thing that is always my constant that give me comfort and escape. How are you all? Silly question? I just keep thinking of what Dori from finding Nemo says ‘just keep swimming’ I’m finding that regular workouts and writing a list of three things I’m grateful for each day is helping to keep me sane. On a separate note our hyacinths have started shooting giving me that gentle reminder that Spring isn’t too far away and with it hope ❤️
