Hello lovelies! We're currently in the thick of wedding season so it's all go here at flowery HQ but I have been so desperate to check in with you all and give you a little update on what we have been up to, with the new re-brand and other flowery news! I sooo miss blogging, during the busy summer months I just don't get a chance to post as often as I would like but as we haven't yet blogged since our new re brand (more on that in a bit) I thought it was about time that I got my little fingers ... Our take on Gatsby for a private party in Greenwich
A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of doing our take on Gatsby for event flowers for a private party at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich. The floral designs were made up of a mix of white and nude flowers, paired with gold vessels and pampas grass, which lends itself nicely to the extravagant style of the 1920's whilst retaining a natural, modern feel. The stars of the show flower wise were (in my humble opinion), the white anemones with dark black centres. These really ... View the Post
Summer Bouquet Master Class
Yay for this beautiful weather we're having this week (I hope it is here to stay!). I'm excited to share with you today these stunning images captured by Amanda Karen Photography from our summer bouquet master class which was held at the Trafalgar in Greenwich. As most of you know, teaching has been on my radar for a while but I had been hanging back a bit, a bit dubious as to if it would be something I would be any good at! Then I was given the opportunity to teach a one on one class back ... View the Post
Winter Wonderland Installation for Blackburn Bridal Couture
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... well it is at Blackburn Bridal Couture that's for sure! Last week we had the pleasure of creating a winter wonderland installation for their boutique window. As you probably will already know we are big fans of the gorgeous boutique (we created their Christmas window display last year too) if you're a bride to be who hasn't yet bought her dress you must pay them a visit! They stock the most swoon worthy gowns from the industries most sought after ... View the Post
Gala Dinner at the Round House in Camden
Today I am rewinding back to the beginning of the year, February to be precise when we had the pleasure of creating centre pieces for a gala dinner at the round house in Camden. Hard to believe looking back that it was ten months ago when we were contacted by the lovely Fiona from The Bank who were working on a gala dinner event which was for a cooking awards ceremony. Little did I know at the time that this event was being hosted by celebrity chef, Paul Hollywood all you Great British ... View the Post

Winter Wonderland Arrives at BlackBurn Bridal Couture
Last week I was thrilled to install our first ever shop window display for the gorgeous Blackburn Bridal boutique nestled in Blackheath Village, one of my favourite places. The boutique wanted a festive design that could go in both of their shop front windows and I instantly imagined a magical winter wonderland. A frosted snow like scene with twinkling metallic silver that would blend beautifully with the stunning gowns on the mannequins and the chic mint green with silver ... View the Post
All the Fun at the Fair!
How quickly has the last week flown by, I can't quite believe that it was just over a week ago that we exhibited at the Wedding Fair Bluewater. Our stand could be found in the Creative Brides Vintage Village, a brand new concept to the Bluewater fair and we exhibited alongside some of our favorite suppliers and what a talented bunch they are too! It was lovely meeting lots of excited couples & their families chatting about their wedding plans & of course about their flowers. We ... View the Post
Jenny Packham Design Weekend at Blackburn Bridal Couture
Happy Friday lovely people! Today I wanted to share with you some beautiful blooms that we created for Blackburn Bridal Couture. The boutique who last week won 'Best Independent Retailer' at the You and Your Wedding Awards, (huge congratulations team BB!) is nestled in the idyllic Blackheath Village, in South East London. Being a local gal (I live just a 15/20 minute drive away) I often visit Blackheath whenever I get a spare morning or afternoon, I love strolling around the boutiques and ... View the Post
